The United States Tennis Associations – Pacific Northwest (USTA PNW) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization with a mission to promote and develop the growth of tennis in the Pacific Northwest. The USTA PNW believes that tennis should be accessible and free of any financial barriers, to every individual living in the PNW.
The USTA PNW has expanded their scholarship opportunities to provide need-based financial support to players who would not otherwise have the financial means to participate. Tennis is a fun lifelong sport that should be available to all – regardless of ability, age or financial means. Don’t allow cost to prevent you from learning or playing tennis,.
The USTA PNW has established a written award procedure, uses a committee to approve all policies and guidelines, has a formal application process, has mechanisms for reconciling disputes, and maintains strict records retention procedures to ensure all scholarships are awarded fairly and evenly for eligible individuals that apply. Upon submission of an application, it will be reviewed by the USTA PNW Scholarship Committee who will render their decision within a reasonable and customary timeframe.
