USTA leagues and tournaments are great ways to play competitive tennis, stay active, and even have the chance to compete for a National Championship. VTC hosts various USTA leagues and tournaments throughout the year and all levels of abilities and ages are eligible for participation. Matches are primarily held on weekends.

USTA Leagues

There are a few requirements to have a USTA team based out of VTC:

1. Captains must be VTC members.
2. A minimum of 50% of team members must play primarily out of VTC. Exceptions are made for
   some Adult and Mixed league teams based on numbers of available players, for example Adult
   teams of 4.5 or 5.0 NTRP rated players or Adult 65+ teams.
3. ALL team members must have a profile at VTC and sign the waivers before playing a home
   match. Go to pnwtennis.clubautomation.com to set up a profile.
4. Team members need to have a credit card on file for easy billing of home court fees. You can add
   a credit card through your online profile or call our Front Desk staff at 360-773-5038. Fees are
   $20 plus tax per person for each home match. Most teams divide the total cost for a season
   among all players. For example, a Mixed 40+ team has 3 individual doubles matches for each
   home team match ($120) x 4 home matches = $480 plus tax for the season. If the team has 15
   members, cost per person is $32 + tax for the season.

There are a limited number of spots available for teams each season so if you would like to have a team
contact the league coordinator as soon as possible.

Northern Oregon Division Leagues

City League

City League Tennis is an exciting organization that brings women together for food, fun, socializing, and …oh yeah, competitive tennis! Vancouver Tennis Center participates in the Greater Portland Ladies City League with eight teams. Match play is on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays depending on the level of play. The City League calendar runs from September through May and is divided into two seasons. Placement on a team at VTC is done by pro evaluation with consideration given to other league results. VTC Singles League

Looking to get in extra practice matches? Join the VTC Singles League! This league is open to all players, (not just VTC members) and is perfect for those with busy schedules since you’ll arrange your own matches with your opponent on your schedule.

Here’s how it works: Once you register, you’ll have 8 weeks to complete your singles matches against your opponents in your division (men play against men, women play against women). You can play your matches whenever and wherever it’s most convenient for you and your opponent as long as you complete all matches within the 8 weeks. Once your match has been completed, you’ll report your scores to the Singles League coordinator. Up to 8 players are allowed in each division. If only 4 players are signed up in your division, you’ll play each opponent twice over the 8 weeks. At the end of the 8 weeks, the player in each division that has won the most matches will be crowned champion. Interested in our Singles League?
